Biography

Đorđe Milanović is a highly accomplished violist, arranger and composer, born on May 2nd, 1991 in Jagodina, Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Niš, where he specialized in viola performance. He also attended the Dr. Miloje Milojević music school in Kragujevac, where he studied viola.

As a five-year-old, he was the youngest student at the School for Musical Talents “Horeum Margi” in Ćuprija. He is dedicated to continuously developing his professional skills and has gained experience through participating in viola masterclasses and summer music academies with renowned professors such as Silvia Simionescu (Switzerland), Vesna Rilak Stanimirovic (Serbia), Ognjan Stancev (Bulgaria), and Professor Ivan Brkić.

Đorđe has performed as a soloist and orchestral musician with notable ensembles including the Nish Symphony Orchestra, The Naissus Youth Philharmonic Orchestra NAISUS, the Chamber Orchestra “Hibridi”, the Nish Faculty of Arts Orchestra, and has also performed as a soloist accompanied by a symphony orchestra. He has also performed as a vocal soloist since the age of 4 in notable concert halls in Serbia such as the Sava Centre, National Theatre in Belgrade, National Theatre in Novi Sad, National Theatre in Niš, and Musikverein in Wien.

His repertoire is vast and diverse, encompassing classical pieces, movie soundtracks, jazz, traditional music, evergreens, rock and pop music. He has performed in numerous national music festivals for children, receiving great acclaim and gaining valuable advice from experienced music professionals throughout his career.
